In celebration of Mikimoto’s 125th anniversary, the pearl giant is collaborating with InterContinental Hong Kong to present the ‘Ocean Treasure’ afternoon tea set. A special-edition akoya pearl and diamond jewellery is also introduced to mark the anniversary.
Executive chef Maxime Luvara and executive pastry chef Christian Gonthier from the hotel have selected premium ingredients and culinary treasures including those from the sea, and infused them with Japanese flavours to create the ‘Ocean Treasure’ afternoon tea set which will be available at InterContinental Hong Kong from 3 October to 30 November 2018.
To celebrate the commemorative year, Mikimoto has presented the 125th anniversary pendant and earrings set in 18-karat white gold with akoya pearls and diamonds at HK$29,900 and HK$43,300 retail. (Photo courtesy: Mikimoto)
