The 2019 Gem Awards has announced nominees in the three categories including jewellery design, media excellence and retail excellence. Winners will be announced on 11 January 2019, according to organiser Jewelers of America (JA).
‘Jewelry Design’ nominees:
- Silvia Furmanovich of Silvia Furmanovich, Brazil
- Fernando Jorge of Fernando Jorge, Brazil
- Valérie Messika of Messika, France
‘Media Excellence’ nominees:
- Brecken Branstrator of National Jeweler
- Will Kahn of Town & Country
- Michael Thompson of International Watch
‘Retail Excellence’ nominees:
- Threads
Stewart Wicht, president & CEO of Rolex Watch USA Inc has received the lifetime achievement award.
Gem Awards honors individuals and brands whose work raises the visibility and status of fine jewellery and watches. Each nominee has achieved excellence in their field and awards category.
