Mikimoto, Japan, has just announced the opening of the eighth shop in Hong Kong.
Located at Harbour City Ocean Terminal, the new location is designed under the same theme as the Ginza main store in Japan and 1881 Heritage shop in Hong Kong – the ocean. The ocean-wave partition wall and the Nishijin-ori fabric finishing are part of the elegant and subtly luxurious style the shop creates.
In celebration of the grand opening of the new shop, Mikimoto has launched a new and exclusive collection Universe Elements.
The creation of Universe Elements is inspired by the four elements concept in ancient Greece, using square, circle and triangle shapes to represent earth, water and fire elements, while representing the fourth element air by pearls and diamonds. The collection comprises of rings and earrings set in 18-karat white gold with akoya pearls, South Sea pearls and white diamonds with a retail price range from HK$35,400 to $78,600 per piece.
