Graff 2017 profits tripled

14-6-2018

Sales of London-based jeweller Graff Diamonds rose 22 percent to US$692.8 million in 2017, and profits more than tripled to US$52.1 million during the same period, thanks to its global store openings, according to their latest financials.

Graff saw UK sales slide nine percent to US$31.3 million, while revenue from the rest of its global network climbed 24 percent to US$661.5 million. Two new stores the company opened in Paris and Macau two years ago performed well last year, said group chairman Laurence Graff. They also opened another three stores in Asia including one in Singapore, and plan to open a second store in Paris this year.

Graff remains broadly optimistic about 2018, and also expects the group’s increased inventory, including large rough diamonds to generate strong revenue during this year.
