Couture show kicks off with high excitement

The 2018 edition of Couture and the timepiece pavilion Couturetime kicked off on 31 May to robust crowds, a high-level of excitement and awe-inspiring presentation of exquisite jewellery and timepiece collections. A strong sense of community permeated the show floor as retailers and exhibitors united again at the Wynn and Encore Las Vegas, said the organiser Emerald Expositions. 

“We are extremely pleased with the results of our opening day,” said Gannon Brousseau, senior vice president of Emerald Expositions and Director of Couture. “Our attendance was strong and our brands are all delighted with the quality of the retailers they are meeting with and the business that is taking place.”

US-based designer brand Victor Velyan exhibits the show again this year, Victor Velyan said: “It’s been a great opening day. We have already seen a lot of our existing clients and we are meeting with new stores. We are fully booked with appointments throughout the week and so far, everyone is arriving at their appointments on time and ready to shop!”

The premier, luxury watch event in the United States, “Couturetime is a great platform to showcase our latest novelties and engage with those who have a shared passion for watchmaking,” noted Morgan Leynaud, marketing manager of Frederique Constant. “We are thrilled to be a part of Couturetime this year as we celebrate our own 30 year anniversary; a true milestone of innovation, craftsmanship and technology for us.” 

Couture show runs until this Monday, 4 June 2018 and Couturetime is open until Sunday, 3 June 2018.
