Jewellery designer, Reena Ahluwalia donates her diamond oil paintings to Jewelers For Children (JFC) for a fundraising auction at the upcoming Facets of Hope Event at JCK Las Vegas on 3 June. The funds will be donated to children suffering from illness, abuse or neglect.
“JFC benefits children in need in a variety of ways, such as by offering foster care support, and in some cases providing for a bone marrow transplant unit or treatment for deadly cancers,” Reena said. “My deepest desire is to create art that can tangibly contribute, touch people’s lives positively, and spread joy.”
One of the donated art pieces,'The Portrait of Perfection' (Photo 1) is a 5-feet limited edition printing which took the designer 500 hours to complete.
Over 1,700 people attended the event last year. Since the inception, JFC has donated over US$ 51 million to campaigns which help children in need.
