Diamond Producers Association (DPA), a world leading diamond mining companies has appointed Grant Mobley as the U.S. trade director.
Mobley graduated from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and has over 13 years of experience in the jewellery industry, encompassing a vast range of sectors including retail, manufacturing, and sourcing. As the U.S. trade director, Mobley will work with retailers and other industry stakeholders to help them take advantage of the DPA’s ‘Real is Rare. Real is a Diamond’ platform.
“The addition of Grant, an experienced diamond expert, to the DPA creates an important link to the industry,” said Deborah Marquardt, DPA chief marketing officer. “The depth of his knowledge, industry expertise, strong retailer relationships and passion for diamonds will be instrumental as the ‘Real is Rare’ platform continues to grow and evolve,” he added.
‘Real is Rare. Real is a Diamond’ is a programme aims to cultivate emotional relevance and appreciation of the value, rarity and preciousness of diamonds amongst a new generation of consumers.
