Inhorgenta Munich sees increase in exhibitors & business

20-02-2018

Inhorgenta Munich 2018 held 16-19 February has attracted 27,000 visitors from over 70 countries and regions for the new trends in jewellery and watches. The annual show in Germany records an increase in the number of exhibitors and substantial business transactions, according to organiser Messe München GmbH.

A total of 1,026 exhibitors from 42 countries and regions participated in the show, an increase of four percent over last year. Klaus Dittrich, chairman and CEO of Messe München said: “We had received consistently positive feedback for this Inhorgenta Munich, but also generally for the development of the trade show in the last few years. It is not an easy undertaking to take equal account of all needs of our exhibitors and visitors. I think we have excellently coped with this challenge.”

The presentation ceremony of the second Inhorgenta Munich Award came as a highlight of the show with over 500 guests presented. A new category for this year, the ‘Smart and Connected Watch of the Year’ award went to TAG Heuer. The contest attracted over 100 submissions from nine countries and regions.

More than 300 pieces of award-winning amber jewellery were brought by Poland to the ‘Baltic Amber – Tradition & Innovation’ exhibition at Inhorgenta Munich with 40 Polish exhibitors.
