Christie’s jewel sale spotlights Asian designer jewellery

Christie’s Hong Kong has announced its maiden collaboration with four celebrated Asian jewellery designers for the spring jewels auction scheduled for 30 May 2017. A press preview with some of the major lots on models was held on 10 May.

The four designers, Adrian Cheng, Cindy Chao, Edmond Chin and Michelle Ong, are internationally-famed for their flair and design, and are established as prominent leaders in their fields, according to the auction house. “Each designer has taken their unique route to success, with their works demonstrating their personalities and distinctive signature styles. Each creation is a symphonic composition of beautiful and rare gemstones, displaying the highest levels of artistic achievements.”
