Alrosa announced its rough and polished diamond sales results for March 2017 on 10 April, 2017.
Rough diamond sales in the period amounted to US$554.2million. Polished diamond sales for the same period amounted to US$12.4million.
Total diamond sales in March 2017 amounted to US$566.6million, one percent higher compared to the same period last year.
“In March, we continue to observe stable demand in almost all categories of rough diamonds, which is a confirmation of the optimism of market participants shown during the jewellery exhibition in Hong Kong,” said Yury Okoyomov, vice president of Alrosa.
