CTF a world’s most valuable brand

London-based brand evaluation company Brand Finance has recently published the list of the world’s 500 most valuable brands of 2017. In the watch and jewellery sector, Rolex claimed the first position.

Up from 2016’s 232nd place, Rolex ranked 216th in 2017. Right after the Swiss brand in the same sector is Cartier which was down from the 161st place in 2016 to this year’s 224. Tiffany & Co also saw a drop in ranking from last year’s 368 to 404.

Hong Kong jewellery retail giant Chow Tai Fook found itself in the 333rd place, leaping from last year’s 424.

Other listed retailers carrying jewellery and watches for 2017 include Louis Vuitton (No 101), Gucci (No 219), Macy’s (No 298), and Nordstrom (No 351).

The top three most valuable brands overall was Google, Apple and Amazon.
