D-Mark promotes design thinking in HK

The Design Council of Hong Kong (DCHK) under the Federation of Hong Kong Industries held the Hong Kong D-Mark presentation ceremony at the Regal Hotel on 10 January 2017. Among the awarded companies, three are from the jewellery industry.

Aimed at giving public recognition to companies that embrace design and adopt design thinking in their operations with a view of creating value, D-Mark, dubbing a design mark from Hong Kong, comes to the second edition in 2017.

Over 70 cross-industry companies were presented a D-Mark certificate on stage. Representing the jewellery industry were Cantone Creative Limited, Polaris Jewellery Manufacturer Limited and Sunny Creations Limited.

According to DCHK, registered companies in Hong Kong that pledge to comply with the requirements set by the council are eligible to apply for the D-Mark. Holders can use the D-Mark logo on all promotional materials.
