Large perfect stones top HK sale

Important Jewels of Poly Autumn Auctions 2016 was held on 3 October fetching a total of over HK$200 million. A set of two D-colour, flawless brilliant cut type IIA diamonds of 30.19 carats and 30.53 carats realised HK$8.26 million (photo 1). Other important lots included a rare ‘Imperial Green’ jadeite and diamond necklace and matching earrings sold for HK$2.64 million (photo 2), a set of 146.73-carat Columbian emerald necklace and earrings sold for HK$2.18 million (photo 3), and a 30.02-carat Burmese ‘Royal Blue’ sapphire ring designed by William Goldberg sold for HK$1.41 million (photo 4).
