Carina Wong, Hong Kong, launched an extended Enchanted Forest collection for her fine jewellery brand HETING at a media preview on 30 June 2016, featuring insects, fruits and mushrooms set in 18-karat gold with exotic gemstones, enamel, and diamonds.
Heavily-inspired by nature, the new collection embraces the magical power of metamorphosis and transformation. “In life, we encounter different experiences and pass through varied phases of the journey. Only through endurance, persistence and metamorphosis do we refine and discover the best of ourselves. This is the belief that belies myself and the creative team at HETING,” said Wong, founder and designer of the brand.
Launched in June 2015, HETING debuted the Enchanted Forest collection with four series: ‘Dewdrop’, ‘Pinecone’, ‘Bellflower’ and ‘Tree of Life’. It defies conventional perspectives of perfection by using crafted Tahitian pearls, organic forms and textured metal finishing.
