Rahaminov Diamonds has won the grand prize of the 2016 JCK Jewelers’ Choice Awards which carried 47 winners in 20 categories, including the newly-added ‘lab-grown diamond and/or gemstone jewellery’.
The grand-prize winning ring (thumbnail, courtesy JCKonline) is set in platinum and 18-karat rose gold with a 2.32-carat VVS1 natural fancy pink oval diamond. Rahaminov’s owner and designer Tamara Rahaminov told JCK that the diamond dictated the design. It has been polished for several times in order to maximize its beauty, shape, colour and clarity.
A 14-karat gold pendant with a 4.71-carat created padparadscha accented and 0.14-carat natural diamond accents designed by Chatham is the winner of the lab-grown diamond and/or gemstone jewellery category. Here comes the complete list of the winners:
