More industry leaders support JNA Awards

Paspaley Pearling Company, Australia, and Belgian Diarough Group have become the new sponsors for the JNA Awards 2014, said awards organizer JNA on a recent media release. Other supporters include Rio Tinto Diamonds, Chow Tai Fook, Gübelin Group, KARP Group, and the Shanghai Diamond Exchange.

“We are delighted to welcome Paspaley as an honoured partner of the JNA Awards. Their strong backing of the programme reflects the Awards' growing stature as we celebrate the exceptional achievements of the jewellery and gemstone industry in the past year,” said Letitia Chow, JNA founder and UBM Asia’s director of business development – jewellery group.

Peter Bracher, executive director of Paspaley Pearling Company said: “Paspaley has worked closely with UBM for many years. UBM has been instrumental to our efforts to promote Australian South Sea pearls throughout Asia and other parts of the world. We have always been particularly impressed with UBM’s strong focus on education. We regard education and category awareness as essential to the long-term prosperity of the pearl sector. UBM has been a valuable partner in achieving this goal to the benefit of the entire jewellery industry.”

"We are proud to welcome the Diarough Group as an honoured partner of JNA Awards. There's a strong alignment between our organisations' commitment to promoting excellence and best practices across the industry. We are very excited to be working closely with them," said Chow.

Diarough's director Nishit Parikh recognises the Awards' "very fair and transparent manner" in the selection process. "We are proud to partner with an event of this calibre that not only showcases Asia's best, but also motivates the entire diamond and jewellery industry to pursue innovation and excellence," he said.

Paspaley is a leading Australian South Sea pearl supplier of strands, loose pearls and jewellery.

Established in 1975 in Antwerp, Diarough is known among the most professional and respected names in the diamond industry.

The JNA Awards, now in its third edition, aims to honour innovators and leaders of the international jewellery industry, paying tribute to their achievements and contribution, particularly in Asia.
