The 15th Hong Kong Jewellery Design Competition announced the results at a press conference held on 19 February 2014. Winners of the Open Group - Best of the Show went to Fung Yin Ling, Tse Ka Wing and Luk Tong Teng. Fung’s Motion gold necklace set with diamonds also won her an award for the best craftsmanship and technology.
Millie Ho from the Hong Kong Management Association, with her Womb pendant, crowned champion in the Student Group. She also took first runner-up with a pair of earrings Dance with Rain. Second Runner-up went to Candy Wong from School of Continuing Education, Hong Kong Baptist University, whose winning piece was The Eternity earrings set in multi metals
Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the design contest has received about 350 entries for the 2014 edition. Winning and finalist pieces will be on show at the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, 5–9 March 2018.
