Results of Hong Kong Jewellery Design Competition announced

Jointly held by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the Hong Kong Jewellers’ & Goldsmiths’ Association, the Hong Kong Jewellery & Jade Manufacturers Association, the Hong Kong Jewelry Manufacturers’ Association and the Diamond Federation of Hong Kong, China, the 16th Hong Kong Jewellery Design Competition had announced its results on February 24, 2015 during the press conference for the 32nd Hong Kong International Jewellery Show.

Drawing inspiration from the theme ‘Green Living’, the 6 award winners had demonstrated creative and refreshing visions. In the student group, the Champion goes to Lok Ka Ki. The 1st Runner-up goes to Chan Wing Chi Gigi’s ‘Life’ and the 2nd Runner-up goes to Wong Ka Yan’s ‘Flourishing’.

In the open group, the three Best of Show Award winners are Li Hue Ling, Jane’s ‘The Tale of the Drifting Polar Bear’, Wong Ho Ian’s ‘Lotus Blossom’ and Yau Ming Yuk, Janice’s ‘Dandelion’, which also wins the Craftsmanship & Technology Award for its sponsor, Dehres Limited. These winning designs will be showcased during the 32nd Hong Kong International Jewellery Show.
