Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group (CTF)’s jewellery brand Hearts on Fire has recently appointed Rita Maltez, former Rio Tinto Diamonds executive, as global president.
Rita Maltez has been the brand’s acting global president since 2021, leading commercial and business strategies and growing the company’s market presence. She manages items teams across Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, and North America. She reports to Sonia Cheng, vice chairman of CTF, which purchased the company in 2014. Maltez is also the founder of Bravva Consulting, where she worked with international brands including the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and Swarovski.
