Jewellery designer Simone Faurschou debuts a bracelet-liked gold puzzle detachable into12 individual NFT pieces, bear the witness to the coexistence of digital piece and physical jewellery.

 

The gold puzzle consists of 12 assemble blocks, which could be wear as a necklace. Each is crafted from either 18K white or yellow fair-mined gold and set with man-made diamonds. Two of the limited to one NFT pieces, block 1 and block 2 were already sold. Number three to six at present are available on NFT marketplace Known Origin. Among the four, block 5 asks for the highest price at two ETH. A physical gold block necklace will be shipped alongside the NFT. The designer offers personal engraving service for free.

 

‘It is a play on the fact that NFTs and the blockchain (in the context of crypto) inherently are linked to currencies and gold, whilst also literally representing the technology behind it all via a physical chain of gold blocks,’ the designer commented about the concept behind the work.
