The International Gemological Institute (IGI) and the Virtual Diamond Boutique (VDB) will host the first-ever lab-grown diamond charity auction benefiting children.
Over US$31,000 worth of loose lab-grown diamonds from one to over three carats and lab-grown diamond jewellery, all come together with IGI grading reports will go under the hammer. Bids can be placed through app from 16-29 August.
The lots are donated by lab-grown suppliers such as Aarush Diam, Clarity Diamond, Classic Grown Diamonds, Forever Grown Diamonds, Go Green Diamonds, Green Rocks Diamonds, Innovation Diamonds, Labon LLC, etc.
Proceeds generated from auction sales will be donated to Jewelers for Children (JFC)’s charity partners. Since 1999, JFC has donated over $57 million to charity partners for the benefit of children with catastrophic illness or life-threatening abuse and neglect.
