Signet Jewelers, the world's largest retailer of diamond jewellery, moved from a ranking of 98 to 78, on the 2021 edition of the National Retail Federation’s (NRF) Top 100 Retailers list.

It is the one and only jewellery specialist which ranks one of the largest companies by domestic retail sales in the United States. Fashion clothing and accessories brands that also offer jewellery including Macy, Nordstrom and J.C. Penney were at place 24th, 48th and 54th.
Signet concluded a strong first quarter ended this May. “We are winning in our biggest banners through consumer-inspired differentiation, as evidenced by double-digit revenue growth in both Kay and Zales versus this time two years ago. We are successfully beginning to stretch the top and bottom boundaries of the mid-market as Jared continues to grow at higher price points and in custom design, and Piercing Pagoda delivered its best quarter ever accessing more value inspired self-purchasing shoppers,”said Virginia C. Drosos, Signet CEO.
