Jewels of Emirates gets locals back to buy mode

The second edition of Jewels of Emirates themed ‘Glamour of Beauty’ ran from 30 June to 3 July saw a rise of 30 percent in visitor volume.

 

Over 100 local companies exhibited in the first Emirati show for diamond, gold and silver jewellery, pearl and gemstones and luxury watches. Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, its host Expo Centre Sharjah CEO said: “Jewels of Emirates Show has effectively stimulated the gold and jewellery trade and boost sales of local markets.”

 

The organiser said the exhibitors expressed their satisfaction with the event in view of the distinguished public turnout. It added: “A majority of the exhibitors have confirmed their participation in the next edition, which underlines the significance of the event for those working in the jewellery and watches industry at the local level.”
