21.86-carat Pink Palesa to be sold this month

The 21.86-carat natural pink diamond Pink Palesa will be sold in Antwerp by Bonas Group this month.

 

The diamond is uncovered in mid-May at the Kao mine in Lesotho which owned by Namakwa. The preview will hold in Antwerp from 12-23 July and the sale by the Bonas Group will close the online bidding on 23 July.

 

Namakwa Diamonds operates the mine through its subsidiary Storm Mountain Diamonds (SMD). “Kao remains one of the world’s few sources of natural pink diamonds,” the statement noted. The mine is well known for the 29.59-carat Rose of Kao, 25.97-carat Pink Dawn, 3.06-carat Purple Princess, 36.06-carat Pink Storm uncover within five years.
