Dubbed the only gold-focus trading platform in Southeast Asia, the Penang Signature Gold & Jewellery Fair (PSG) 2021 will be staged at Setia Spice Convention Centre, Penang, Malaysia during 12-14 December 2021.
Penang, famed for its exquisite gold jewellery craftsmanship over a century ago, has been evolved as an ideal shopping destination for gold jewellery in the region. That is the reason for its being chosen by Elite Expo Sdn Bhd, organiser of PSG 2021, as the show venue.
According to the organiser, demand for the gold from both professional investors and small businesses has soared during the pandemic. “Gold shops doubled or even tripled their sales during the lockdown period as gold in any crisis, would be the key asset to look out for. With an additional of exciting brand new Diamond & Gemstones zone this year, we envision bringing together the local and international gold and jewellery manufacturers and buyers under a rooftop,” says Elite Expo.
Apart from showcasing the latest designs of gold jewellery, technology, machinery, equipment and tools from around the globe, PSG 2021 will ensure a clean and safe trading environment by adhering strictly to health and safety guidelines, while enhancing cleaning protocols in accordance with health and safety standard by local government.
PSG 2021 is endorsed by Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) with immense supports from government bodies including Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board, Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (PCEB) together with renowned international association Hong Kong Jewellery & Jade Manufactures Association (HKJJA).
