The 93rd Academy Awards went live at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California yesterday. A-listers and celebrities were bound to make a big presence with their blingiest jewellery and finest outfits at Hollywood’s glamourous night of a year. With no surprise, many stars turned to dangling statement earrings for the big moment.
Olivia Colman gave her Dior dress an extra sparkle with a pair of Chopard Precious Lace earrings (photo 1). Angela Bassett complemented her red Alberta Ferretti gown with Chopard Haute Joaillerie ruby and diamond earrings (photo 2) . Best Actress nominee Andra Day shone in Vera Wang with Tiffany & Co earrings featuring square emerald-cut fancy vivid yellow diamonds (photo 3). Viola Davis, dubbed Oscars’ most-nominated black female actress in history, sported Forevermark by Rahaminov Dream drop earrings to go with her custom Alexander McQueen dress (photo 4).
Some other stars turned heads in a more understated way. Best Supporting Actress winner Youn Yuh-jung from South Korea wore Marmar Halim to match with a pair of Chopard Haute Joaillerie diamond earrings (photo 5). Amanda Seyfried’s red gown from Giorgio Armani Privé was teamed with Forevermark by Premier Gem earrings (photo 6). Regina King chose Forevermark by Rahaminov Asscher diamond drop earrings to match with an ice blue Louis Vuitton dress (photo 7).
