De Beers and Blue Nile release Ten/Ten, a collection of 100 commitment rings reimagining “the timeless symbol of love and commitment”, designed by ten independent jewellery designers, exclusively available on Blue Nile’s website.
Limited to 10 for each of the design and all mounted with responsibly-sourced diamonds from the DeBeers mines in Botswana, the rings are priced between US$3,000 and $4,500. “The diamonds selected for Ten/Ten were sizes that are not your usual 1.00 carat or 2.00 carat larger stones. The advantage of this decision is that it allows for creativity within the design without making the price point unaffordable. The purpose of using diamonds in these sizes was to reach a different customer,”Stephen Lussier, De Beers executive vice president for consumer and brands said.
The ten collaborators are Aurora Lopez Mejia, Bea Bongiasca, Catherine Sarr of ALMASIKA, Lauren Harwell Godfrey of Harwell Godfrey, Lola Oladunjoye of Lola Fenhirst, Marla Aaron, Michelle Fantaci, Natasha Tsimmerman of Platt Boutique Jewelry, Pamela Love and Wing Yau of WWAKE.
