Bahrain Bourse CEO Shaikh Khalifa and Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) president Yoram Dvash signed MoU last week to explore areas of mutual interest and joint cooperation between the two exchanges and to develop channels of communication.
Alzayani said: “We are looking forward to capitalise on trade opportunities, especially in Diamonds and we thank the Israel Diamond Exchange for exhibiting numerous avenues of cooperation between Bahrain and Israel.” He also expressed Bahrain’s interest in organising jewellery events and exhibitions.
Yoram Dvash is confident that the MoU will lead to economic opportunities for both sides through exchanging ideas, sharing information, and exploring joint commercial initiatives.
The Bahrain Bourse, also known as the Bahrain Stock Exchange (BSE)is the stock exchange of Bahrain. As of 2020, there are 44 companies were listed on the exchange.
