The HKTDC Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show and the HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show originally scheduled on 1-5 March 2021 and 3-7 March 2021 respectively have postponed running concurrently on 2-6 July 2021 at AsiaWorld-Expo.
“With many pandemic-related travel restrictions remaining in place, exhibitors and buyers may have difficulty joining the [shows],” stated on an HKTDC’s notice. The twin shows had rescheduled for the fourth time in light of the cities’ anti-epidemic measures. Currently, all passengers arriving into Hong Kong must quarantine themselves in hotel for at least 14 nights.
The chief executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor announced that the city’s 4th wave showed no signs of slowing, with about 103 new cases expected on Tuesday.
