Tiancheng International’s jewellery and fei cui autumn sale is scheduled for 28 November in Hong Kong. Among the exquisite lots are a 6.70-carat fancy deep yellow diamond ring, a 10.18-carat D IF diamond ring and a pair of double-hoop fei cui earrings.

The natural fancy deep yellow diamond from the Zimmi mine in Sierra Leone emits an extremely rare tangerine tinge, resembling the bright colours of yellow jonquils in full bloom, said the auction house (estimate HK$3.5 million – 5.5 million or US$45,000 – 705,000).

Weighing over 10 carats, the emerald-cut D colour internally flawless type IIa diamond is excellent in both colour and clarity (estimate HK$6 million – 9 million). Among the stellar line-up of fei cui lots is a pair of “double-hoop” earrings in luxuriant green (estimate HK$2.2 million – 3.2 million).

Connie Huang, head of Tiancheng International’s jewellery department, says: “While the market readjusts in the current economic climate, Tiancheng International has spared no effort in sourcing refined jewels for the autumn sale. Apart from exquisite gemstones and fei cui traditionally seen at auction, we are delighted to present a wide selection of jewellery from some of the most prominent jewellers, as well as mesmerising designer pieces, catering to the finest tastes of every aficionado.”

Public viewing will be held 25-27 November at Tiancheng International’s headquarters in Central. (Photo courtesy: Tiancheng International)
