30-10-2020

A total of 230 lots of exquisite gems will be auctioned during the Magnificent Jewels sale by Christie’s Hong Kong scheduled for 29 November 2020. The Boghossian emerald and diamond double rivière (photo 1) and a pair of fancy intense blue diamond earrings (photo 2) are set to create a stir in the auction parlour.

Designed by renowned Hong Kong designer Edmond Chin for the House of Boghossian, the sensational emerald and diamond necklace features emeralds from Muzo of Colombia (estimate HK$55 million – $80 million). Another coveted wonder of the sale is a pair of 3.29/3.29 carat fancy intense blue IF diamond earrings (estimate HK$25 million – $35 million).

A careful selection of rare coloured diamonds of vivid colours and intensity, highly translucent imperial green fei cui, Burmese ‘pigeon’s blood’ rubies, Burmese royal blue sapphires, Colombia no-oil emerald earrings and others will steal the limelight of the live sale.

After touring in Taipei, the jewellery will be shown in Hong Kong 14-19 November before leaving for Singapore. The sale will be held at Hall 3C of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre at 2 PM, 29 November. (Photo courtesy: Christie's)
