09-10-2020

British jewellery veteran cum historian Diana Scarisbrick has launched a new book in English and Simplified Chinese narrating the history of fine jewellery in the recent 300 years.

Published by Shanghai Century Publishing Group in mainland China, Illuminata: Three Centuries of Fine Jewellery 1720-2020 gives an exhaustive overview of major categories of fine jewellery and their mesmerising history from the mid-eighteen century to present based on the world-class private collection ‘Illuminata’.

The hardcover book, 7.5” x 10”, 216 pages, 268 yuan, goes through the important ‘Illuminata’ jewellery in chronological order, from the 18th to the 21st century. Each piece of jewellery is studied in detail with exquisite illustrations and photos.
