Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) has decided to reschedule the 66th Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair (BGJF), themed Thailand’s Magic Hands: The Spirit of Jewelry Making, to 23-27 February 2021.
Originally takes place 7-11 September 2020, BGJF has postponed due to the concerns on the well-being and safety of industry players, despite there is no local COVID-19 infection in the past two months.
The last edition of BGJF had 994 exhibitors and was visited by 9,292 visitors with over 4,000 of them from countries such as India, China, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Russia. DITP director-general Somdet Susomboon said buyers were confident in their preventive measures for the virus.
Currently, DITP is preparing the BGJF Special Edition – On Ground to Online Exhibition slashed 2-4 November 2020.
