Auction aids families of Covid-19 fighters

Three pieces of spectacular jewellery created by celebrated jewellery artist Anna Hu of Anna Hu Haute Joaillerie were sold at Christie’s online auction 3-13 July for HK$2,612,500 or US$338,781. Proceeds will go to support families of healthcare workers who lost their lives to the novel coronavirus.

The charitable auction was a collaboration with Anna Hu, Christie’s and Diamonds That Care of Alrosa who provided the designer with over 500 colourless and fancy coloured brown-toned diamonds, including a 27.02-carat fancy brown-yellow VVS1 pear brilliant-cut stone which was finally set on the necklace sold for HK$2.25 million.

The ring set with a 1.59-carat faint brown pear-shaped brilliant-cut diamond realised HK$150,000, while the earrings with a 3.21-carat and a 3.01-carat faint brown diamonds fetched HK$212,500.
