This year editions of JCK Las Vegas, the largest jewellery trade show in the United States and JCK Luxury earlier postponed to June has been cancelled buoyed by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
JCK & Luxury group vice-president, Sarin Bachmann commented on the cancellation: “We know this decision impacts the entire industry and it was not made lightly.” The shows organiser Reed Jewelry Group plans a virtual event named JCK Virtual 2020 this summer. JCK also offers webinars and virtual education during mid of April to May, hosted by Women's Jewelry Association (WJA) and Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers of America (MJSA), etc, as well as 30 pre-recorded resources provided on its website.
For those who prefer physical show, JIS October in Miami from 13-16 October and the next edition of JCK and Luxury in June 2021 at the Sands Expo Convention Centre and the Venetian Resort would be an opportunity for in-person connections.
