Sarine Technologies Ltd, Israel, has recentlysigned a strategic cooperation with Tiffany & Co to develop a new automated system DiaMensionTM Axiom for polished diamond’s symmetry grading.
Based on microscopic magnification and advanced video imagery analysis, DiaMensionTM Axiom is a totally new solution for ascertaining a polished diamond’s proportions and symmetry. The machine sets a new bar for polished diamond analysis and grading. DiaMensionTM Axiom measures the most of diamond features including facet junctions, facet misalignment and facet distortions, which are key to the symmetry grade.
The patent pending technology is applicable to round and fancy shaped polished diamonds. It is anticipated that the result can reach to higher accuracy.
