CTF-PGI launches 'Frozen II' collection

28-02-2020

Chow Tai Fook (CTF) has recently launched the Frozen II platinum jewellery collection in Chengdu, China, partnering with the Platinum Guild International (PGI) and Disney, marking the debut collaboration of the three renowned brands.

The new collection draws inspiration from snowflakes, featuring ear strings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets in platinum with enamel and diamonds. “Courage and fortitude are the inspirations behind the design of the Frozen II platinum collection. Platinum is pure and strong. The enamel embellishing the heart of the snowflake is selected from the rarest blue of the Paraiba tourmaline, a colour that is unique and requires the highest craftsmanship,” said Pei Xiang, CTF’s merchandise management platinum general manager.

Huw Daniel, CEO of PGI, says the new collaboration together with the innovative collection bring excitement to consumers. “PGI collaborates with the jewellery industry on product design, marketing and in-store activation to drive awareness and boost sales of new-generation platinum jewellery in China.”

The special packaging of Frozen II comes as another excitement for customers. Glowing in the dark, the box features the silhouette of Frozen II’s characters on its exterior, with the image of Elsa shining on a faceted crystal on top.

The collection is available online and at over 1,000 Chow Tai Fook stores in China. (Photo courtesy: CTF)
