HK’s watch show welcomes the public

Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the 33rd Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair will be staged at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 3 to 7 September 2014.

Over 760 exhibitors from 19 countries and regions will be rolling out their latest watch designs and technologies at the five-day show, with companies from Belgium, India, Iran and UAE being the new comers.

After the successful launch last year, Salon de TE returns to the fair this year with 145 luxury brands spreading across five thematic zones, namely World Brand Piazza, Chic & Trendy, Craft Treasure, Renaissance Moment and the brand-new Wearable Tech.

In order to raise the awareness of original watch brands among the public, HKTDC deliberately chose Harbour City as the venue for the press conference dated 25 August, and welcome public visitors to the World Brand Piazza section on the last show day, 7 September.

During the press conference winners of the 31st Hong Kong Watch & Clock Design Competition were announced. The contest received around 180 entries under the themes of Time Controls World (for open group) and Smart World (for student group).
