CTF launches institute with French school

18-12-2019

Chow Tai Fook (CTF) collaborates with French jewellery school Haute Ecole de Joaillerie (HEJ) to launch Loupe Jewellery Academy, a part of its 10-year sustainability strategy to “incubate and inspiring forthcoming generations in the jewellery industry”.

"Loupe Jewellery Academy's curriculum is divided into three pillars: design, craftsmanship, and sales and marketing. It aims to provide professional training in every aspect of the jewellery industry. We also hope to promote cross-generational craftsmanship and innovation, besides cultivating an artisanal spirit of perseverance amongst younger and aspiring jewellery producers and designers," said Bobby Liu, CTF executive director.

Lead by the HEJ design director Sylvie Ballivet, 12 CTF designers participated in her first high jewellery design courses in June and September covering design, craftsmanship and sales and marketing topics.
