Never-before-seen Patek Philippe on exhibit

Singapore has been chosen by Patek Philippe as the venue for its fifth Watch Art Grand Exhibition. Take place at Marina Bay Sands Theater from 28 September to 13 October, the exhibition will be free to the public with tickets reserved in advance on the Patek Philippe website.

 

There will be 10 thematic rooms covering Patek Philippe history, current and antique collections, horological craftsmanship demonstration, calibre display and a room exclusive about the cultural heritage of Singapore.

Historic timepieces will be on loan from international museums and Patek Philippe collectors. Visitors can expect to see two pocket watches once owned by King Rama V of Kingdom of Thailand, two table clocks named Tropical Island and Thai Ornaments, the first Swiss-made wristwatch and the first documented wristwatch with a perpetual calendar made in 1925, etc.
