Held between 16 October and 1 November at PMQ, Hong Kong, the two-week program will be taught by a number of lecturers including art historians, virtuoso craftsmen, experienced jewellers, gemologists and master watchmakers.

Established in 2012, L'ÉCOLE Van Cleef & Arpels aims to initiate the general public into the historical and cultural aspects of jewellery and watchmaking, encouraging the intellectual and emotional understanding of these universes and to convey the craftsmanship through personal experience.

Accoridng to VCA, the Hong Kong program will provide students with a selection of 10 courses across three themes: History of Art, The Universe of Gemstones and Savoir Faire. The History of Art module will discuss the major aesthetic sources and the symbols which are part of the jewellery world.
