Held on 15 October 2013, Christie’s New York magnificent jewels auction realized a total of US$46.7 million (approximately HK$362 million). The top lot was an 8.77-carat VVS1 rectangular fancy intense pink diamond acquired by Moussaieff Jewellers for US$6,325,000 (approximately HK$49 million). The next highest bids went to a 3.81-carat VS1 fancy vivid blue diamond sold at US$3,973,000 (approximately HK$31 million) and a 25.30-carat D VVS1 diamond sold at US$3,133,000 (approximately HK$24 million).
