The glitter and glamour in Malaysia

The autumn edition of Malaysia International Jewellery Festival 2016 will be held 11-14 November at Hall 5, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

According to show organiser MIJ Exhibition Sdn Bhd, the four-day event is set to attract jewellery enthusiasts, private jewellery collectors and high-end jewellery retailers to view and source one-of-a-kind designer collections from Italy, Russia, Turkey, Lebanon, India, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, etc.

On 25 April 2016, the MIJ spring edition ended on a high note at the same venue. It proved itself to be an effective platform for international jewellers to showcase their best novelties, and for up-and-coming talents to exhibit innovative creations. Renowned exhibitors from Hong Kong, India, Iran, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and other parts of the world offered a massive selection of fine jewellery from affordable everyday pieces to luxurious jewellery. Among the first-time exhibitors were those from Russia and Lebanon who brought to the show delicate jewellery set with top-quality diamonds, precious gemstones and pearls.

Yang Maha Mulia Tunku Ampuan Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Najihah Ibni Al Marhum Tunku Besar Burhanuddin was invited as the guest of honour to officiate the opening ceremony of the fair.
