The Thai Gem and Jewelry Traders Association (TGJTA) announced on 15 July 2016 that the inaugural Thailand Gems & Jewelry Fair, which was originally scheduled for 7 to 11 September 2016, will be postponed to 2017.
Due to problems regarding venue arrangement, TGJTA said it could not secure the necessary space to organise the fair during the stated timeframe. Therefore, it now shifts its focus to find an alternative venue and prepare for the Thailand Gems & Jewelry Fair 2017. TGJTA firmly believes that this move will provide a better fair for its members and the Thai gem and jewellery industry. Updates about the fair will be provided as soon as possible. TGJTA said it is disappointed with the change and offers its apologies to all exhibitors.
