TRIANGULAR shape is the signature design motif of Maya Yuen’s Delta collection (photo 1) for her namesake jewellery brand launched in 2015. The name ‘Delta’ comes from the fourth letter of the Greek alphabet which means changes; and her creations are to pay tribute to the changes in modern women’s lives.
Transformation and versatility are the buzzwords in the world of jewellery today. Maya Yuen’s design is made to personalise, providing wearers with unlimited possibilities in stacking, mixing and matching.
Made in silver and 18-karat gold plated, her jewellery is fabricated in Hong Kong following the standard of fine jewellery making. Besides Delta, Mayayuen Jewellery also carries the brilliant Delta Jour collection (photos 2) and the glamourous Delta Noir collection (photos 3).
The Central Saint Martins College graduate is now working on her first fine jewellery line set in 14-karat gold with diamonds or pearls. Men’s jewellery is also part of her working plan.
In a year’s time Mayayuen Jewellery has already earned handsome media coverage. Available online, her jewellery is also carried by selected boutiques in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai.
