Couture Design Awards celebrates 20 years of design excellence

The 20th Couture Design Awards announced results in June 2015 during Couture Show in Las Vegas. Gannon Brousseau, director of Couture explained that “when we cut through all of the pageantry and ceremony of Couture, we are left with the reason we all came together in the first place-the designs.”

There were a total of 14 award categories, including the newly added Editor’s Cbkjce categrory this year. In particular, Los Angeles-based Spinelli Kincollin won both the Best in Gold and Debuting at Couture categories with Nexus, which can be worn across several fingers or stacked on one finger. In addition to design awards, the Human Spirit Award was presented to Todd Reed, who is known for creating artistic jewellery with rough diamonds. Some of the winners are highlighted here.
