An invigorating JCK Las Vegas 2015

The 24th JCK Las Vegas, held 29 May – 1 June 2015 at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, featured 2,300 exhibitors and welcomed over 22,000 retail buyers representing 9,400 jewellery stores, marking a 4-percent increase in attendance over the previous edition, reported show organiser Reed Exhibitions.

For an easier navigation, the show’s visual was redesigned. The new look has successfully attracted attention from across the fairground.

“The collections featured at this year's show were some of the best retailers have seen in years,” said Yancy Weinrich, senior vice president of JCK. “I heard over and over again how impressed they were with the innovative designs, superior craftsmanship, and salability of the products shown.”

In addition to providing an important and timely venue for pre-fall and holiday sales, the 2015 show featured a robust programme lineup, including new ‘JCK Talks’ education programme, ‘Shark Tank at JCK’ new Evening of Design Awards and ‘JCK Rocks the Beach’, etc.

The new ‘JCK Talks’ format and added styling events bolstered buyers’ enthusiasm. Speakers from both inside and outside the jewellery industry inspired buyers to think about jewellery pairings and merchandising in unique ways - providing new strategies for selling to bring back to their stores.

Overall, the show experience, including JCK's new event programmes and upgraded amenities, were met with highly positive reviews from show attendees.
