AGTA award honours natural colours

The American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) announced the winners of the 2015 AGTA Spectrum Awards in New York on 27 October 2014, recognising designers whose work utilises natural coloured gemstones and cultured pearls in finished fine jewellery design. A platinum ring with a 4.71-carat Paraiba tourmaline and French-cut diamonds by Leon Mege won the best of show award. “We were thrilled with the variety of entries at this year’s AGTA Spectrum Awards competition,” said Douglas K Hucker, CEO of AGTA. Here we highlight some of the winning jewellery designs.
