The Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) has elected Boaz Moldawsky as its new president, took over from Yoram Dvash, now the president of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB).
Moldawsky is the co-CEO of the Moldawsky Group, a diamond manufacturing and trading company. His family helped laid the foundations of Israeli diamond industry. Formerly IDE vice president, he also served as the Israel Diamond Institute (IDI) chairman.
Moldawsky said: "It is an honour and privilege for me to lead the exchange in the coming years, and especially during such a complex and challenging period for the industry. The IDE represents a key sector of the Israeli economy and I am convinced that we will bring it to renewed growth.”
