First Greenland’s gems jewellery collection released

20-11-2018

Denmark- based Hartmann’s Jewellery debuts a collection centered on Greenland’s rubies and pink sapphires. The collection features more than 50 pieces of Greenlandic ruby and pink sapphire necklaces (photo 1), earrings (photo 2) and rings (photo 3) using approximately 300 carats of rubies and pink sapphires. They cost from US$1,500- 45,000 at retail and will be launched in Scandinavia tomorrow.

The stones which the geologists believe is in the oldest rock formation on earth were mined by Greenland’s only miner, Greenland Ruby, come with a certificate of origin authorised and issued by the Government of Greenland, guaranteeing that the gemstones are in high quality and responsibly sourced.
